Stop Talking About What You Need and Start Talking About What Your Clients Want

In the last Online Marketing Byte I talked about how some companies feel social media is just not working for them, and how by setting goals and tracking your progress is the true indicator of a success rate.
Another factor that can be infringing on your social media success is an overwhelming urge to constantly talk about yourself. Your sales. Your discounts. Your products. Basically just how terrific you are.
While I agree you are all of these things and that these messages are important, does your audience want to listen to this all the time?
Create social media profile updates that engage your target audience by sharing information that they can use in their lives. Create content that entertains, educates, and engages.
While your social media channel is yours, remember that its purpose is to connect with your audience. Don’t be that person in the networking event that can talk incessantly but, despite all of the effort, can’t connect with anyone.
Something that is worthy of consideration – Share your thought!
